BIOGRAPHY:

Even as a child I loved playing around with all types of cameras. A passion emerged from a dark room in a cellar. Since then I have specialised in fine art, people, wild life and nature photography. Even though I focus predominantly on the photography of fine art and people at my studio in Bülach, I have already been fortunate enough to carry out various projects in Africa and Asia for the benefit of aid and animal protection organisations.

PHILOSOPHY:

In the current digital age there are more photographic opportunities than ever before – the possibilities are endless.

Every one of us can become a photographer with the aid of modern mobile phones and small compact cameras – anytime, anywhere..

This poses the inevitable question – is the artist, photographer or painter still necessary?

Whether it be a snap shot taken by an inexperienced photographer, the production of a professional or an artistic creation of photographic art– every picture has its own raison d'?tre and for its owner a special importance and appeal.

Despite, or perhaps because of the flood of images, increasingly more people recognise the value of really good pictures. Creative and high quality photography will not be swallowed up, but will instead captivate by means of its "otherness".
